LANGE FOUND GUILTY OF SECOND-DEGREE MURDER

IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO. After a four-day jury trial, a Bonneville County jury found Robert Wyatt Lange, 21, of Idaho Falls, guilty of second-degree murder in the death of Alejandro Parades Hurtado which occurred on the Northgate Mile in Idaho Falls on October 19, 2024.

Lange will be sentenced on December 5, 2025, before Judge Brendon Taylor, in the Seventh District Court in Bonneville County, and could face up to life in prison.

Bonneville County Prosecuting Attorney Randy Neal represented the State, and the lead law enforcement agency was the Idaho Falls Police Department. Neal thanked the IFPD detectives who worked hard on the case and testified at the trial.

Several of the victim’s family were in attendance at the trial.
