RIGBY, IDAHO. Idaho Transportation Department IT Security Specialist Shea McNama was awarded the Prosecuting Attorney’s Commendation by Bonneville County Prosecuting Attorney Randy Neal for his work which helped secure a conviction for murder in a recent jury trial.

McNama was assigned by ITD to work with the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and Prosecuting Attorney to develop crucial surveillance camera footage concerning the shooting death which occurred in 2022 at a local rest area.

“Shea worked an enormous number of hours combing through videos to find very small details that made a tremendous difference in building our case,” stated Bonneville County Prosecuting Attorney Randy Neal.

ITD Director Scott Stokes, Chief Operations Officer Dan McElhinney, and District Engineer Jason Minzghor attended the presentation at District 6 ITD headquarters in Rigby on July 2.

The Prosecuting Attorney Commendation is the highest recognition given by the Prosecuting Attorney for outstanding contributions helping him fulfill his constitutional and statutory duties.
